Why won't the motor start?
Make sure the pitcher is securely installed on the motor base.

Make sure the lid is securely on the pitcher in the correct position, with the arrows aligned.

If the unit is turned off, press the Power button to turn it on.

Check that the plug is securely inserted into the electrical outlet.

Make sure the unit is not overloaded. If it is overloaded, it will stop and the Power light will flash. Unplug and wait approximately 15 minutes before using again.

If the unit has overheated, unplug and wait approximately 15 minutes before using again.

What does a “-:--” message mean?
This message means the container is not properly installed on the motor base. For your safety, the unit can only be turned on when the container is properly installed.

Why can't I turn ice into snow?
We recommend that you use ice fresh from the freezer. Do not use partially melted ice. Ice that has had time to melt a little is less effective as it becomes metled into one block.
