What do I do if there is condensation around the lid?
Use extreme caution when removing the lid after cooking. ALWAYS lift and tilt the lid away from you when removing, using care to ensure water does not drip into the unit.

Which parts are dishwasher safe?
The cooking pot is dishwasher safe. If food residue is stuck on the cooking pot, fill it with water and allow to soak before cleaning.

The lid is not dishwasher safe. Wash it with warm, soapy water.

Do not place the main housing in water or in the dishwasher. Wipe it with a damp cloth.

Is preheating required?
No preheating is required. However, if you are using the Stovetop function, results will be better if you let it come up to temperature before adding ingredients.

When would I use the Buffet function?
Use the Buffet function after cooking is complete to keep food warm from 30 minutes up to 12 hours.
