Can I leave my house with the unit plugged in and cooking?
It is perfectly safe to leave the unit plugged in and cooking ONLY when using Slow Cook. When using the Stovetop function, you must be present.

What do I do if there is condensation around the lid?
Use extreme caution when removing the lid after cooking. ALWAYS lift and tilt the lid away from you when removing, using care to ensure water does not drip into the unit.

At the end of the power cord, there will be a 4-digit number engraved on the outside of one of the metal prongs. This is the date code of your unit, which tells you the date your unit was produced.
