Why is the blender so loud?
The Ninja Ultima® blender has the 2.5 horsepower motor to power through all of your culinary tasks! So go on, plug in your Ninja® and hear the sound of power!

What if my blender will not turn on?
Be sure your blender is assembled correctly and plugged in. The handle should be facing the front left or front right corner of the blender base. If the power light is solid, you have assembled the blender correctly.

Why is the Ninja Ultima® blender base intermittently switching from solid to blinking lights when using my 72oz Jar or Nutri Ninja® cups?
There may be food stuck in the large opening around the bayonet. To correct:

Step 1 – Make sure the system is unplugged and turned off.
Step 2 – Clean the area with a standard household cleaning brush to remove excess food and debris. For best results use a brush without metallic bristles.

Why does the power light always blink?
The pitcher is not properly assembled.
Make sure the pitcher lid is assembled properly aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the handle. Press down firmly on the handle until you hear a slight click to ensure it is fully engaged. The Ninja Ultima® blender will not run if the lid is not assembled correctly & the handle is not fully engaged.

The unit may be overheated.
As a safety feature the motor will automatically shut off if it becomes too warm during heavy loads. Unplug the unit from the wall & wait 15 minutes before using again.

My blender turns on, but why doesn’t the blade rotate?
It is possible that you have overfilled your vessel. TURN OFF THE POWER AND UNPLUG THE MACHINE. Once power is off and machine is unplugged, carefully remove some ingredients and try again.

At the end of the power cord, there will be a 4-digit number engraved on the outside of one of the metal prongs. This is the date code of your unit, which tells you the date your unit was produced.
