Salted Caramel Chip Cookies

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 extra-large egg, lightly beaten
2/3 cup caramel or toffee bits
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Position the Dough Blade Assembly in the 64-ounce Precision Processor, then add all ingredients, except caramel or toffee bits, in the order listed.
- Select DOUGH.
- Add caramel or toffee bits to the 64-ounce Precision Processor and select CHOP. Then carefully scrape down sides of bowl with spatula.
- Scoop dough by the tablespoonful onto prepared baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until light golden brown.
