Tomato Basil Soup

This soup is delicious as a sauce or soup, and filled with the antioxidant, lycopene.
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 clove garlic
1 cup vegetable broth
1/2 cup loosely packed fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Place all ingredients into the 40-ounce Processor Bowl in the order listed.
- PULSE until smooth, using long pulses.
- Pour soup into a medium saucepan and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
