Lid/Blade Assembly is difficult to remove from the cup.
Wipe the exterior of the cup clean. Holding the cup away from your body, carefully twist the Blade Assembly counter-clockwise to remove. If necessary, use a dish-towel or rubber gripper to get a better grip. Do not hit the cup or try to pry open as this may damage the cup or blade assembly. Replacement Blade Assemblies and Cups are available for purchase on www.ninjaaccessories.com.

Using the Blender

How do I care for my Ninja® Mega Kitchen System®?
Use a damp cloth to wipe the motor base clean. The cups, bowls, blades, attachments & lids are dishwasher-safe, it is recommended to put these pieces on the top rack. Use extreme caution when cleaning & handling the blades. Always store blades in containers or safe area.

How do I clean my Ninja® Mega Kitchen System®?
If hand washing, squeeze 2-3 drops of dish soap into the jar, fill halfway with warm water and pulse 5-10 times. Once you are done pulsing, rinse clean.

If using the dishwasher, the pitcher, bowl, blades, Nutri Ninja® cups & lids are dishwasher-safe, and it is recommended to put the blades, Nutri Ninja® cups and lids on the top rack.

What if my blender will not turn on?
Be sure your blender is assembled correctly and plugged in. The handle should be facing the front left or front right corner of the blender base. If the power light is solid, you have assembled the blender correctly.

What are the different speed settings used for?
The speed setting that should be used varies depending on the function and recipe being made. Use the chart found in the Instruction Book that came with your blender for a general overview of speed settings based on blender function.

What is the Nutri Ninja® button used for?
The Nutri Ninja® button is designed for optimal use of the 16 oz. Nutri Ninja® cups. With the Nutri Ninja® cup assembled to the base, the Nutri Ninja® button will illuminate and run at the optimal speed for the cups. The remaining buttons will not operate with the Nutri Ninja® cup assembled to the base.

What is the Dough/Discs setting on the control panel used for?
The Dough/Discs setting is used when processing food in the bowl with either the dough blade or one of the discs attached. When using these attachments, this setting is engineered to run at the optimal speed for the function you are performing.

How is the Reversible Slicing/Shredding Disc used?
The Slicing/Shredding disc is two sided with one side designed for Slicing and the other side designed for Shredding. To slice ingredients, assemble the disc to the disc adaptor with the side labeled “Slicer” facing up. To shred ingredients, flip the disc over and assemble to the adaptor so that the side labeled “Shredder” is facing up.

How do you use the two part food pusher?
The two part food pusher is designed for use with the feed chute lid to help guide food through the chute and into the bowl while using the disc attachments. The entire pusher should be used to guide larger items, such as cucumbers, through the feed chute. For smaller items such as carrots, lift the food pusher out of the chute and twist the top clockwise to separate the parts. Insert the larger section of the pusher into the food pusher and use the small pusher to guide the food through the small chute.

How do you release the suction to remove the base from the counter?
The suction cups on the bottom of the motor base are designed to hold the base in place while operating the unit for extra stability. To release the suction and remove the base from the counter, simply place your hands under both sides of the unit and lift the base up and towards you. Release levers will activate, releasing the suction cups from the counter.

Food Processor Bowl

My food processor is assembled correctly with the disc attachment and feed chute lid, but the power light is still blinking.
When using the feed chute lid, make sure the lock on the lid is aligned with the bowl handle and fully locked in place. You will hear a click when the lid locks onto the bowl. If you have locked the lid onto the bowl and the light is still blinking, check to make sure the bowl and disc attachment are both properly assembled.

Using the Blender

My blender turns on, but why doesn't the blade rotate?
It is possible that you have overfilled your vessel, carefully remove some ingredients & try again. It is also possible that the thermal protection has been activated, unplug your unit & wait 15 minutes before plugging back in.

Why does the power light always blink?
The pitcher or bowl is not properly assembled.
Make sure the pitcher or bowl lid is assembled properly aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the handle. Press down firmly on the handle until you hear a slight click to ensure it is fully engaged. The Ninja® Mega Kitchen System® will not run if the lid is not assembled correctly & the handle is not fully engaged.

The unit may be overheated.
As a safety feature the motor will automatically shut off if it becomes too warm during heavy loads. Unplug the unit from the wall & wait 15 minutes before using again.

For troubleshooting & assembly tips at any time, refer to the Instruction Booklet which can be found in the packaging of your unit.

At the end of the power cord, there will be a 4-digit number engraved on the outside of one of the metal prongs. This is the date code of your unit, which tells you the date your unit was produced.
