Set Up

How do I assemble the pitcher?
Blade Installation: Place the pitcher on a level surface. Align the stacked blade assembly with the spindle in the pitcher, then slide the blade assembly onto the spindle. Use caution when handling the stacked blade assembly. Always hold the blade assembly by the shaft.

Lid Assembly: Place the lid on the pitcher, aligning the triangle on the lid with the triangle on the pitcher handle. Once the lid is aligned, press down on the handle until it clicks into place. The triangle symbols must be aligned for the lid to lock into place and for the unit to operate.

Pitcher Assembly: Align the pitcher so that the handle is on the right side of the motor base, in a diamond shape. Once the pitcher is settled onto the motor base, lock in the pitcher by turning it clockwise until it clicks into place.

Cleaning

How do I clean the unit and the accessories?
To clean the motor base, turn off the unit and unplug it from the wall. Wipe the motor base with a clean, damp cloth. To clean the touchscreen, apply an all-purpose cleaner to a soft cloth and wipe gently. Never directly spray the touchscreen with water or other cleaners. DO NOT use abrasive cloths, pads, or brushes to clean the motor base or control panel, as this can dull or scratch the surface.

The FreshVac Pump is NOT dishwasher safe. To clean the FreshVac Pump, apply an all-purpose cleaner to a soft cloth and wipe gently. Never submerge the pump in water or any other liquid.

All other attachments are dishwasher safe. The lid and the blade assemblies should be washed on the top rack only, while the twist-off reservoir, pitcher, cup, and bowl can be washed on either rack. Blade assemblies must be removed from their vessels before placing them in the dishwasher.

To hand-wash the attachments, use warm, soapy water. Handle blade assemblies with care to avoid contact with sharp edges. When washing the blade assemblies, use a dishwashing utensil with a handle to avoid direct hand contact with the blades. Thoroughly rinse and air-dry all parts.

Troubleshooting

This FAQ page is a great place to find info, tips and help. Just make sure you’ve read your Owner’s Guide before using your unit.

Why won't the motor base stick to the counter?
Make sure that the counter surface and the suction feet are both wiped clean. The suction feet will only stick to a smooth, clean surface.
Note: the suction feet will not stick to some surfaces, like wood, non-polished finishes, and tile.

Why were the ingredients not chopped evenly?
For best results, we recommend that you prep the ingredients by cutting them into pieces that are similar in size. When adding ingredients to the Precision Processor® Bowl, do not fill past the max fill line.

Why are the ingredients are getting stuck or not mixing well?
For best results, we recommend using the pre-programmed Auto-iQ® functions. The pulses and pauses allow for the ingredients to settle toward the blade assembly.

If your ingredients are routinely getting stuck, adding liquid will help.

For the most uniform consistency, we recommend adding ingredients in the following order: First, add fresh fruits and vegetables, followed by leafy greens and herbs. Next, pour in liquid and/or yogurt. You can then add dry or sticky ingredients like seeds, powders, and nut butters. Finally, top off with ice or frozen ingredients.

If the unit is turned off, press the Power button to turn it on.

Check that the plug is securely inserted into the electrical outlet.

Make sure the unit is not overloaded. If it is overloaded, it will stop and the Power light will flash. Unplug and wait approximately 15 minutes before using again.

If the unit has overheated, unplug and wait approximately 15 minutes before using again.

Why won’t the blender turn off?
Press the selected program button again to pause operation, or press the Power button to cancel the selected program. When the blades have completely stopped spinning, remove the pitcher from the base by rotating it counterclockwise and lifting it up. Once the pitcher is removed from the base, unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Why does my blender sometimes count up and other times count down?
Auto-iQ® programs are timed to finish on their own when the program is complete, so the clock will count down until the program is finished. When using a Manual mode (Low or High) the clock will count up from 0 until the automatic shutoff is reached, or until the button for the currently running mode is pressed again.
