Cleaning

How do I clean the unit and the attachments?
To clean the motor base, turn off the unit and unplug it from the wall. Wipe the motor base with a clean, damp cloth. To clean the touchscreen, apply an all-purpose cleaner to a soft cloth and wipe gently. Never directly spray the touchscreen with water or other cleaners. DO NOT use abrasive cloths, pads, or brushes to clean the motor base or control panel, as this can dull or scratch the surface.

The FreshVac pump is NOT dishwasher safe. To clean the FreshVac pump, apply an all-purpose cleaner to a soft cloth and wipe gently. Never submerge the pump in water or any other liquid.

All other attachments are dishwasher safe. The lid and the blade assemblies should be washed on the top rack only, while the twist-off reservoir, pitcher, cup, and bowl can be washed on either rack. Blade assemblies must be removed from their vessels before placing them in the dishwasher.

To hand-wash the attachments, use warm, soapy water. Handle blade assemblies with care to avoid contact with sharp edges. When washing the blade assemblies, use a dishwashing utensil with a handle to avoid direct hand contact with the blades. Thoroughly rinse and air-dry all parts.

Troubleshooting

This FAQ page is a great place to find info, tips and help. Just make sure you’ve read your Owner’s Guide before using your unit.

Why won't my motor base stick to the counter?
Make sure that the counter surface and the suction feet are wiped clean. The suction feet will only stick to a smooth, clean surface.
Note: The suction feet will not stick to some surfaces like wood, non-polished finishes, and tile.

Why won't the pump turn on?
Make sure the AA batteries are properly installed in the pump and the battery cover is securely in place.

If the pump still doesn't turn on, the batteries may need to be replaced.

If you are using an AC adapter, make sure that it is manufactured by SharkNinja and the connector is fully inserted into the pump. Other after-market adapters are not compatible with the pump.

Make sure the Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly is tightly attached to the cup.

Why are the ingredients getting stuck or not mixing well?
For best results, we recommend using the pre-programmed Auto-iQ® functions. The pulses and pauses allow for the ingredients to settle toward the blade assembly.

If your ingredients are routinely getting stuck, adding liquid will help.

For the most uniform consistency, we recommend adding ingredients in the following order: First, add fresh fruits and vegetables, followed by leafy greens and herbs. Next, pour in liquids and/or yogurt. You can then add dry or sticky ingredients like seeds, powders, and nut butters. Finally, top off with ice or frozen ingredients.
