Prep Time

5 minutes

Makes 4 cups.

You can depend on the flavor of this salsa every time! Canned tomatoes create consistency and rich flavor.

2 10-ounce cans whole peeled, tomatoes
1 white onion, peeled and quartered
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded
1 canned chipotle pepper in adobo
2 tablespoons adobo sauce
1 bunch cilantro, stems removed
1 lime, peeled, quartered
Salt and pepper to taste

Container: 72-ounce Pitcher

  1. Place all of the ingredients into the 72-ounce Pitcher in the order listed, starting with tomatoes.
  2. Turn unit ON and hold down "Auto-iQ PULSE" until desired consistency is achieved.
  3. Go ahead, embrace your inner meal prepper. We hear you, making smoothies the night before is a huge time saver. But, heads up, never store your smoothies with the blade assembly attached—active ingredients in some foods may lead to pressure buildup and possible injury. Store them with Sip & Seal Lids instead.

Best salsa recipe I have made so far. But I do add a little honey for a sweetner.

Great easy salsa!

This was the first recipe I made after getting a Ninja blender as a present. Great flavor from using both canned chipotles and a fresh jalapeno. It was a hit at my place!
