Ingredients

1 ruby red grapefruit
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana, peeled
1/2 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice

Instructions

Place all ingredients into the 72 oz. blender and blend for 1 minute or until smooth.

Simply Delicious!

The combination of grapefruit with frozen fruit (anything frozen works well) and a banana to sweeten it up is AWESOME. This recipe provides me with instant energy and eliminates sluggishness in the morning!

A Nice Base Recipe

Tried this for breakfast this morning, but had to change a few things. Here’s my ingredients as follows: 1 grapefruit 1 cup frozen strawberries 1 banana 1/2 cup cottage cheese 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 clementine orange 1 cup fresh kale 1 tsp chia seeds 1 tsp coconut oil 1/2 cup ice I didn’t have vanilla yogurt or enough plain, so that’s why I used cottage cheese. I rarely use juice in my smoothies either so that’s why the orange. Probably could have done without it though. Added some...more
