Makes about 2 dozen.


3 ripe bananas, peeled
2 cups regular or quick-cooking oatmeal
1/4 cup chunky peanut butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract


Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the paddle attachment into the 72 oz. blender and first add the bananas. Once bananas are mashed add the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined. Allow cookies to sit for 20 minutes then drop tablespoon sized cookies onto a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or so.

***Needed tweaking***

I took this recipe and made it my own!This is a healthy cookie and not to be confused with chips a hoy or any other popular brand cookie. Great after dinner snack as well, if you want somthing sweet. The cookies definitely needed a sweet component. So I added about 1/4 cup of raw honey and added 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon. Doing this gave the cookies that extra shine, flavor and sweetness they needed. Enjoy!
