Ingredients

2 pounds ground buffalo,
1 medium onion, chopped,
1 large green pepper, chopped,
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped,
2 tablespoons chili powder,
1 1/2 tablespoons ground cumin,
1 1/2 tablespoons salt,
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes,
2 tablespoons tomato paste,
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce,
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar,
2 cans (15 ounces each) dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Place buffalo, onion, pepper and garlic into pot. Set to STOVETOP HIGH. Cook uncovered 20 minutes or until buffalo is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Set to SLOW COOK HIGH for 2-3 hours. Cover and cook.
NOTE: Always allow the soup to cool to room temperature before blending. Once blended, transfer mixture back to a saucepan and heat to desired temperature.

Wonderful flavor

I’ve never put Worcestershire or vinegar in chili, but this turned out really good. Used elk burger (very lean). Husband is very happy with this dish!
